Spend your shift with dogs who are genuinely happy to see you. We're a locally owned team that's been caring for Overland Park pups for 20+ years, and we're looking for people who love dogs as much as we do.
Play groups, yard time, naptime snuggles. Your office has three playrooms and three turf yards.

Locally owned
We've been part of Overland Park for 20+ years. You're a person here, not a number.

Learn dog behavior
Work alongside a team trained in dog behavior and group play, and grow your skills every shift.

Shifts around the clock
We're open seven days a week, plus overnight, so there's work mornings, afternoons, weekends and nights.

Runner
The heartbeat of the building.
Runners keep the whole day moving. You're the first friendly face a pup sees in the drive-thru and the one who walks them back out to a very happy family.
What you'll do
Meet pet parents in the drive-thru lane and walk pups from the car to their playroom, and back again at pickup
Get every pup settled with the right group for their size and play style
Keep the laundry rolling: towels, blankets and bedding, all day long
Help keep the playrooms, yards and lobby clean, fresh and ready for the pack
Jump in wherever the team needs an extra set of hands
You'll love it if you like staying on the move, you're great with a leash in one hand and a towel in the other, and you want a job where every shift starts with tail wags.
Supervisors are the reason our pups play safe and go home happy. You'll spend your shift in the playrooms and turf yards, keeping play fun, fair and calm.
What you'll do
Watch over play groups in our three indoor playrooms and three turf yards
Read dog body language and step in early, before play gets too rowdy
Run the rhythm of the day: yard rotations, rest breaks, naptime and calm, private mealtimes
Help new pups through their free trial day, watching for stress, anxiety or fear so every dog is set up to succeed
Keep water bowls full and spaces clean, and give out plenty of belly rubs
You'll love it if you could watch dogs play for hours, you stay calm when things get loud, and you want to get really good at understanding dog behavior.
Our boarding dogs never sleep alone, because an Overnighter is right there with them. It's the quiet, cozy side of Pawz, and it matters a lot to the families who are away.
What you'll do
Stay overnight with our boarding pups, sleeping right in the room with the pack
Lead the evening wind-down and help give medications on schedule
Comfort first-night pups who are still settling in
Handle whatever the night brings, from a restless pup to a 2 AM cuddle
Help get everyone ready for the morning crew
You'll love it if you're a night owl or a light sleeper who wakes for a whimper, you love quiet time with dogs, and you take pride in being trusted with someone's best friend.
Reception is the voice and face of Pawz. You'll keep the schedule humming and make every pet parent feel like their pup is the only one in the building.
What you'll do
Greet pet parents and pups at check-in and pickup, and share how their day went
Answer phones and emails, and book daycare, boarding and grooming appointments
Check vaccine records and get new families ready for their free trial day
Keep boarding reservations and the grooming schedule running smoothly
Solve problems, answer questions and be the calm center of a busy lobby
You'll love it if you're organized, you love people as much as their dogs, and you can juggle a ringing phone and a wiggly puppy with a smile.
